Motorsport Nationals 2010 has been cancelled.

Motorsport Nationals has striven to provide one of the most diverse shows in the south with an event that caters to all. It is with great regret that we have to announce the cancellation of the 2010 Motorsport Nationals show at the Atlanta Motor Speedway, September 18th-19th 2010. Due to the economic impact and lack of sponsorship money needed to provide a quality show, for fans and enthusiasts, the management has decided that it would be unfair to try and proceed forward with this years show. In trying to provide the caliber of show that both you the fans and our sponsors deserve, we will cancel this year’s event and move forward to 2011. Stay tuned to the website for details about the 2011 show and other great information from Motorsport Nationals.

The Z Nationals is an annual event focused on the Nissan Z family, showcasing our cars and  offering fellowship with a variety of activities for owners and enthusiasts. There is no admission charge and everyone is  welcome,  however only Z, Infiniti G, and GTR  owners are eligible to participate in most of the activities including awards, prizes, and giveaways.

The 2010 Z Nationals will be the 6th year of the event.  We are once again taking to the track at Talladega Grand Prix (visit: www.tgprace.com  for track info) on Friday to start the Z Nationals festivities.  Check out the detailed itinerary page  for all of the where and when .  Make plans now to join us and check back often for new announcements and details.

We will be attending this event to help raise funds for Bryson Elzey. He is the son of a young lady I work with at the credit union. Below is some information on him.

"Bryson was diagnosed with Glioblastoma (grade 4 brain tumor) September 2008. He will be finished with 2 complete years of chemo September, 2010 but that does not mean that his journey with this disease will be over. He now has hearing aids that will need to be refitted 3 to 4 times a year as he grows. He has leg braces that will need refittings and continuous medicines that will need to be bought along with continuous speech, occupational & physical therapy sessions that will still be a part of his life for a while. He will also continue with Doctor visits, MRI's and hearing test."
